PopCap Games is an American computer game developer of puzzle video games. The company is based in Los Gatos, California and was founded in 1999 by people who previously worked on Tap Fish and The Hero's Journey for Electronic Arts (EA). The first game they released was Zuma's Revenge! and they have since released the popular Bejeweled series of games.
Their games are designed to be simple, yet addictive. Bob Corker, R-Tenn., said the White House was pushing out officials because the administration was unable to "get to an agreement" on the national debt.
"This is a political-type calculation on their part to make sure they're not there when the debate and analysis and decision making that goes into a big deal takes place," he said, according to The Hill.
He added that the administration wants to eliminate a "fiscal watch dog" in the budget process, according to NBC News.

Corker said he was "not sure" the administration was serious about the comment, but if it was, it would amount to an effort to "eliminate a political opponent," according to NBC.
Earlier this year, the Republican senator sent a letter to Vice President Mike Pence, raising concerns about Mr. Trump's ties to Russia. In the letter, Corker wrote that Mr. Trump had "set a bad example for the nation" by being "unable to establish a full de-briefing with the intelligence community" following the presidential election.
